What can you say about the Monkees, the band that started out as an American manufactured answer to The Beatles? Well in the end whilst they might have been considered cuddly pop sensations rarely off TV screens as a result of a whacky TV series they did mature to produce some enduring and highly respected long players. And their pop hits (all included here) are pretty fine too.
