One-time Brighton hotel porter Leo Sayer graduated from writing songs for the Who’s Roger Daltrey to become a chart-topping solo star, as successful in the States as in Britain. Whether performing first hit ‘The Show Must Go On’ in clown make-up, rocking the disco to its foundations with ‘You Make Me Feel Like Dancing’ (a US Number 1 in 1977) or returning to the UK chart summit in 2006 with a dance remix of ‘Thunder In My Heart’, lion-maned Leo has never been less than entertaining, mixing singer-songwriter sensitivity with a sense of fun.
This little man with a huge talent is represented here by all the hits and key album tracks from his long and funkily fruitful career.
‧ A full 2 CD totally comprehensive collection of Leo Sayer’s career lifting tracks from Leo’s whole back catalogue of work.
‧ Contains all ten of Leo’s Top 10 singles as well as the chart-topping Number 1 ‘Thunder In My Heart’ remix by Meck featuring Leo Sayer.
‧ Compiler and sleeve note writer is top pop writer Michael Heatley.
