In All About Animals we meet every child's favourite - the giraffe, elephants, gorilla, lion, shark, rhinoceros, tiger, dolphin, polar bear, chimpanzee, kangaroo, hippopotamus and seal - to name but a few! But this is no ordinary wildlife series. Each episode is an investigative quest. The animals are under constant surveillance as we discover surprising facts about their everyday lives and the creatures that surround them - their friends and their foes. Stories unfold as we learn all about their world.
1.Tammy the Thompson??s Gazelle
Baby Tammy had better look out. On the plains of Tanzania, cheetahs, jackals and even baboons hunt young gazelle. She??s not fast enough to outrun them yet, but luckily she is good at hiding, has excellent eyesight and hearing- and, for the first few week, she??ll be odourless. If she survives, life in the herd will still be precarious as they embark on great migrations to seek out the greenest grass.?
2.Otto lives in the rainforests of Borneo. He has a great time with his mum, but the adults are a solitary bunch and he only occasionally glimpses his brother and dad. With strong arms, stretching out longer than his body, he??ll spend most of his time swinging in the treetops of the rainforests. He has to learn all the tricks of the orang-utan trade, such as how to find the sweetest fruit, how to build a bed and how to avoid animals that could be dangerous.
