They took their name from a luck-making Indian mystic and associate of George Harrison?s and within a year were troubling the charts with Tattva, a top 5 hit during the summer of ?96 and the first of many successful assaults on the charts. A million selling debut album followed for these fans of traditional middle eastern music, Hendrix and The Beatles before mischief making by the press threatened to curtail it all. Further hits and a difficult second album followed before a split. They reformed recently and will release a new album later this year.
