Wang Yi Bai's directorial debut Star Of Bethlehem isn't just about sex and the city, it also boldly explores addiction and lust with the daring performances of Kenny Bee, Jerry Huang, Ceng Pei Yu and Li Wei Wei. Challenging moral values, the relationship drama brings viewers into a world revolving around ecstasy, pleasures and guilt, where emotions and pains are stripped bare.
A mistress (Ceng Pei Yu) and an emotionally dependent married woman (Li Wei Wei) find their escape from love with the help of ecstasy. Hoping to run away from reality, they fall deeper and deeper into their addiction and get caught between three men: a renowned writer (Kenny Bee), a visual artist (Jerry Huang) and a talented musician (Wu Kang Ren).
