Paul is a thirty something computer instructor. With his minimal salary, he is finding it hard to make ends meet for his family. A half drunk Paul once proclaims to his drinking mates that he is willing to do anything for cold hard cash.
This conversation is overheard by Ben, a hitman who is looking to train a successor before his retirement to top off his own career. Ben's girlfriend Jo has vanished and he no longer wants to be in business. Paul accepts Ben's offer and in six months' time, Paul receives his first assignment.
Paul is shocked to discover that his first target is Ben. Ben has taught Paul to put away any emotional involvment, and with the hefty price attached, Paul decides to carry out the job.
