The paining of Josephine Slao with Zhao Wenzhuo on screen gives us a quirky moive which deftly juggles high camp and martial arts, winning over both plebs and film buffs. Siao plays a policewoman so addicted to gambling she marries a mahjong master to pick his brains. That he is a hunky toy boy with a criminal past somewhat complicates matters.
