A seasoned homicide cop (Scott Glenn the Silence of Lambs, Backdraft and the Hint for Red October) leaves the big city and enters a wilderness of mystical peril beyond his wildest nightmares in this electrifying, contemporary action-thriller.
On the verge of terminal job burnout, L.A. detective John Cain (GLEEN) is dispatched to a remote Arizona Indian reservation for a routine suspect pick up. Then he meets his prisoner: Nakai Twobear, a psychotic serial killer feared by the local Navajos as a demonic mind-stealer, or "skinwalker." Cain scoffs-until Twobear escapes in a mysterious freak accident. Aided by a beautiful young Navajo tracker, Cain pursues his heavily armed quarry into the forbidding wilds of the reservation. But as Cain falls increasingly under the spell of Twobear's ancient, unspeakable evil, the huntersK become the hunted. And to his horror Cain realizes he's not just fighting for his life. He's fighting for his soul.
