Duration?360 mins
The film is about Speer & Hitler. Heinrich Breloer (an Emmy Awards winner for Manns), a respected filmmaker in European television, shoots this 270-minute program to prove that Albert Speer, architect and Adolf Hitler's minister for armament up to the end of World War II, was far more involved in war crimes than he has ever admitted. Speer claimed at the Nuremberg Trials after the War that he was not involved in the Holocaust. As the only Nazi leader who admitted that the Germans were perhaps guilty, Speer became the media's and academies' favorite after his release. Director Heinrich Breloer, however, attempts to show that Speer himself has authorized massive construction projects, supplies the frontline with armament, or in short, was far from innocent. Apart from the 3 DVDs consisting of the TV film Speer & Hitler, the set also comes with a documentary on the forth disc.
