? This is the fourth package in Edsel?s re-issue programme of the catalogue of Liverpudlian country superstar Charlie Landsborough. The packages include notes by Charlie himself, as well as the lyrics and photos and ephemera from his own collection.
? Recorded in England, ?Movin? On? (2002), in Charlie?s words, ?presents a few different areas of my song writing, from the country style of ?Passing Through? and ?Who Can Blame Him? to gentle ballads like ?I Wish It Was Me? through to the slightly rocky ?Long and Heavy Chain??. The second version of ?Special? features a chorus of primary school children.
? ?Smile? (2003) was ?a return to introducing covers along with my own songs. As well as the classic title track we added ?After All These Years? a hit for my good friends Foster & Allen, the lovely ?When You Were Sweet Sixteen? and Buddy Holly?s ?Raining In My Heart??.
? The bonus tracks are excellent live recordings from Dublin and Southport.
