- This is the fifth package in Edsel?s re-issue programme of the catalogue of Liverpudlian country superstar Charlie Landsborough. The packages include notes by Charlie himself, as well as the lyrics and photos and ephemera from his own collection.
- Originally released in 2005, ?My Heart Would Know?, was Charlie?s ninth album, and was recorded in England and Spain. Charlie again successfully uses his recipe of a combination of his own heartfelt compositions and his interpretations of some classics close to his heart, including Irving Berlin?s ?Always?, Paul McCartney?s ?Long And Winding Road? and for light relief, the Sherman Brothers? ?Ugly Bug Ball?.
- In Charlie?s own words, ?Heart And Soul? (2006) ?has come to be known as an inspirational album with hopefully a spiritual thread running through the tracks?, and includes his beautiful readings of Bob Dylan?s ?Blowing? In The Wind?, ?Carole King?s ?You?ve Got A Friend? and Kris Kristofferson?s ?One Day At A Time?.
- The bonus tracks are wonderful live renditions from a concert in Southport in 2006, and includes Charlie?s Beatles medley.
