The young orchestral conductor and composer Song Yu collapses during a concert at the Ko Shan Theatre in Hong Kong. He has had a mysterious but frighteningly real vision of an antique seems to have his own face ..... Song Yu and his girlfriend of eight years, Wah-Lei, have recently moved back to Hong Kong from New York. While looking over the apartment that Wah-Lei has found for them, Song has another disturbing vision, this time of a woman in period clothes singing and dancing. Wah-Lei's blind grandmother, who has psychic powers, has a startling explanation for Song's visions: that he is threincarnation of a man who lived (and died violently) in th Qin Dynasty, 2,000 years ago.
